Google Nest not connecting

My camera literally isn’t connecting and it was connecting at the last house I lived at. I don’t know what’s going on. My neighborhood is highkey dangerous and I’d like security with my camera. It’s weird it won’t connect here when it connected at my last residence. It’s also really frustrating that there’s no helpline. I’ll wait on hold for this.

A lot of things change when you move from one location to another location.

The physical houses are built differently with different layouts and the walls are made of different materials.

How is your new house laid out compared to your old house?

Is the camera mounted in a similar location?

Are your internet and Wi-Fi set up and located in a similar spot as before?

Any changes to those parameters can cause the camera to not get a good Wi-Fi signal.

Bring the camera inside and try setting it up close to your Wi-Fi and then see if it connects, then move it close to its outdoor location but on the inside of the house and see if it works there. If it does, there is a good chance the outer wall of the house is blocking the Wi-Fi signal. Move your Wi-Fi closer to that location and try again.

I don't know whether this will help, but here is Google Nest's moving guide for Nest devices:
