Google Nest video playback freezing shortly after normal playback

I too am having the same reported issue. Both on my iPad and iPhone. The video will play recordings initially. Then freezes. If I exit from the app and try again, I get the same result of freezing video playback after a short period of playback.

I am also having the video freeze while watching live video.

I have tried to uninstall the app from both devices- reinstall - but still have the same issue. My wife is experiencing the same problem on her devices.

This started within the last month (March/April 2022).

Hi Yoman,  maybe try opening a support ticket with Google and see where it goes...

Thank you. I do have an open ticket, however they have stopped replying. Very frustrating.

I am still having the same problem, as I believe others are also. If I do have this issue resolved, you bet, I will post it here.

Hi Brad, yes. The exact issue is still unresolved.

If you have a support ticket open still, you will need to continue with them or start a new one. All I can ask you to do is to make sure that your wifi speeds are fast, and to see if you have tried to Restart your device, or even Factory Reset it? Please let me know.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. My speed is very fast and reliable. I have done all that you have suggested. 

unfortunately, Google is not following up on my open ticket. I talked to a tech yesterday, got disconnected twice (he called me back after the first time), have not heard back. 

on my laptop (Windows) I do not have this problem. Just the IOS devises. I’ve tried deleting the apps, restarting and reinstalling without any luck.

I see your dilemma here, but I am still afraid this is not an issue that can be fixed via these Nest Community Forums. I wish I had the option to assist you further here, but my guess is that this is probably a bug, or a software issue that cannot be addressed fully right now.
