Google cam using Ethernet

Hello i would like to purchase an internal  Google Cam and use it in our baby room. i dont fancy using wifi next to our neborn baby and we would like to know if the cameras could integrate using ethernet rather wifi in the future. i know there is a plug with ethernet that could be used for chromecast but it will be handy to know if in the near future you support ethernet connections .

Thanks

The camera has no external ports to allow a LAN adapter add on.

Google would not release a solution that meant people having to disassemble the unit to integrate it and therefore void warranty too.

Hello qapnguyen

I know they dont support ethernet right now. Do you know if they have in plan to put this on roadmap for future cameras products  ? Like they did with chromecast and Google TV bundle.

Thanks
