So I've got 3 Google cameras. They would cast to Google hub, but won't cast to my Hisense Google TV.
After reading I see that Google is not allowing the casting even if it's their licensed Google TV product?
I've paid for $100 every year for your service, yet I still not able to cast on Google TV? Another brand camera I bought could cast to the Google TV. Google please at least make it able to cast to your own Google TV platform for the PAID users.
Your camera's image quality and night vision is already worse than the other brand I have, please do not make the casting more hassle. You are basically pushing us away from your product and service. No need to mention that the other brand doesn't even have a monthly fee. I'm a big advocate for Google but this one is really low.

I have the same issue. One of the primary reasons that I bought the Nest Hello and Google TV/Chromecast was to be able to check that camera at night from my bedroom tv. I would like to have this important feature back or I will need to find a brand that will support the use case I need.

Check out Tapo. They will cast. But I do hope that Google can pick up their game since I'm paying $150 extra for their "premium" service

This is a Chromecast with Google TV. It has been working for a few years. Then, the other night, we started getting that message. This was a working feature, but it has now stopped working. On my Google TV Remote, I push the mic button and say 'Stream Front Door,' and it used to show the feed from my front door Nest Hello camera.

i use Google home voice commands. No power outage and I had reboot all my Google cameras, still none will cast to my Google TV. While another brand will cast no issue with Google home voice commands

As of this morning, it seems to be casting. The Nest Hello is transferred over to Gemini on my phone, and now I have moved from using g the home.nest.com site to home.google.com. My Front Door camera was always able to stream to those devices. When I use my Chromecast/Google TV remote voice command of 'Stream front door', for the past few days it said something akin to the device is not set up for remote streaming. That isn't the exact phrase, but as of this morning, it streams the front door camera successfully I can't take a snapshot of it.
Since you guys didn't seem to make a change I don't have any confidence that it is actually fixed, just a quirk.
There wasn't a power outage, or even a recent internet outage. I know you have to ask these simple basic questions, but I am techie. MSEE and 40 years as a software engineer.

Please stop assuming users are all stupid. I already tried all I could before posting here. Of course I know how to set up Google home or the CEC on my Google TV. And I have your latest wireless doorbell and the outdoor camera with spotlights.
Proof is that I can see casting from Google cameras on your Google home hub, and another brand camera will respond to my voice commands in Google home and cast on my Google TV. Your Google cameras would pretend it can cast, but then all it shows is a grey screen with no video. It's definitely a setting issue on Google end. You need to at least allow us to stream on Google TV
