Google display says camera is off

I have a Nest doorbell camera (wired, 1st gen) and when someone rings the doorbell, Google display says the camera is off. However, when I ask Google display to show the front door, it works fine. It also works fine in the Nest app. I tried restarting the camera but it did not help.

I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Doorbell (wired, 1st gen) shows 'camera is off' on your Google display when the doorbell is rung, even though live view works fine through both the Google display and the Nest app. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before.
