Google doorbell and hubmax connection issues

Hello I have just set up Google battery doorbell to hub max. Am I supposed to be able to see visitors approaching the doorbell on the hubmax as they approach even if they dont press the doorbell.

If you are live-streaming your doorbell on the Nest Hub Max, you can see a visitor approaching the door. Otherwise the "Visitor announcement" is sent to your Nest Hubs when the doorbell is pressed.
