Google doorbell battery, won't lock

Hi,

My doorbell was due for a charge, after charging it and attempting to lock it back in place on the wall mount, it won't lock into place. The small button/ pin is not working, it's  flush with the back of the doorbell, and there's not enough of the pin to lock the doorbell into the metal bracket. help.

I have to use the  removal key to make the  pin pop enough to  attach.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. Some users have, indeed, used the removal tool to occasionally pop it into place, as @Bnuckols suggested. Give that a try, and let me know how that process goes.
