As indicated, when I open the google home app on iPhone and I select a video feed, the app raises my volume to the maximum. I can lower it but it will not completely mute so there is also sounds coming through the speakers. I need a solution so that the sound doesn’t raise to full volume and the sound can be muted when viewing the video. It drives me nuts that this is an issue.

Hi,
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
I have the nest indoor and outdoor cameras hardwired. The second generation and first generation under the same app.
Yes everything is updated.

Hi Derick. That did not work. When I enter the video feed on a camera the volume increases to 100% even if i have the audio slider down all the way. I make sure the volume on my phone is down as well too. It is something in the software of the app.

Hi Derick
These both did not work. I believe it has to be a software update that stops this from happening. I have seen multiple other threads where people have the same problem and nothing is being done about it.
