So for the first time when I looked at the Google home web each of my camera(8) across the box said switch to single view. What does that mean? I have never seen that.. Thanks in advance

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I understand that you want more information about this feature, "single view," so it’s a pleasure to share more. 
 
Single view means that you can view each camera individually, one at a time, instead of seeing multiple cameras at once. This can be helpful if you want to focus on a specific camera or if you have a lot of cameras and want to see them individually.
 
To switch a single view, you can usually click on the camera's icon. This will open a larger view of that camera's feed. You can then switch between cameras by clicking on their icons.
