I have previously posted but for some reason the reply function has been turned off.
I bought my mum a different make of doorbell which advised it works with google home. As she isn't technically minded and already has some Google smart speakers scattered around the house, I decided to get a Google Nest Hub 2nd generation in the hope it would work with the doorbell so she can answer it on the hub and have a 2 way conversation with the person at the front door.
Although I have been able to add the doorbell to the hub, it doesn't ring on the hub or allow her to answer is via the hub, so I have decided maybe we need to return that doorbell and order a nest doorbell.
If I do this, will it work as we want it to, on the 2nd gen hub or will it only work on a Google Nest Max, which is a lot more money?
