Google nest camera not connecting After making beeping noise

So i have 2 of the nest battery cameras And for some reason they stopped working on my Google Home hub so I disconnected them and deleted them from the device and went to add them again and realize that I no longer have the QR codes for both cameras. But that’s OK seeing as it allows you to do the set up with the set up code in the bottom of each camera. Or so I thought. As I went to activate the first camera it went through the entire process the camera made a beeping noise like it was going to connect and then in the final phase said that something went wrong and that I needed to try to turn on and off the airplane mode on my phone and that didn’t work either. Has anybody else had this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

I am having the same issue after resetting my wifi passwrod. I have 3 cameras and non of them will recnnect even after doing a factory reset,

Hey there,


Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally. If that doesn't do the trick, I would honestly suggest looking into doing a factory reset. You can find more information on factory resetting in the article above.
