Where to start? I have paid a substantial amount to money to equip my home with google home products, to get straight to the point. There were shots fired in front of my home at night. I wanted to create a custom clip of the event. It did not occur in the zone I have set up there for there is no event clip. I want to create a custom clip of a timeline I choose. This was a basic feature on the old nest app before google bought them out. This is a basic feature on my Samsung hard wired camera system from 10 years ago. No I am learning there is not option with google home app to create a custom clip of a timeline I choose. Even though I am paying the highest service available for 24/7 video history.
Please explain to to me why this is not a basic option. I am not going to sit through 20 min of screen recording to obtain a basic video that should be included. Is this the quality of Google? Has Google become so wealthy and big they are no cutting corners of basic needs for profit? Please explain? I am currently looking at other options to include leaving google completely to include all platforms across google. To be blunt I am happy to go all Samsung at least I can make basic clips of events I choose at any time within a 1 year timeline.
