Google nest doorbell doesn’t connect notify my best hub when someone pushes the doorbell

Hello

I just recently purchased a Google nest doorbell battery with a google nest hub 2 gen.   The live feed and camera work just fine. I get notified on my apple phone when someone pushes the doorbell. however, the google hub 2 gen will not notify that someone is ringing the doorbell. Please help.  Thank you!
