Google nest doorbell no low battery notifications

Why does the doorbell no longer notify you when it’s battery is low?

I don’t check my app every 5 seconds. In fact i don’t look at it at all unless it’s rung.

so why do I only find out my battery is low until it notifies me it’s switched off as battery is too low?

we need to be able to set it to show a notification at several percentages.

Hello Winston1210,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with this. Let’s check it out.

Let’s make sure the Google Home app is up to date.

  1. Check for any iOS or Android updates.
  2. Uninstall the Google Home app, restart your phone, and then reinstall the app.

Here’s a handy guide to help you optimize your Nest doorbell’s battery life.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Lance
