My Google Nest Doorbell is connected to a wired bell, and is 4 months old. Device went offline today with an error message saying “ device offline due to a battery issue”. I have disconnected, tried to charge, and have done partial and full factory resets. Nothing is addressing the error. When I disconnect off the Google supplied USB charger the device switches off, so it appears the battery has failed in some way. The device is in a covered area outside and in very mild temperatures so well within normal operating range. Any solutions?
