Google support not very good!

Bought the 3 pack of nest cams from Costco yesterday, because of a 100 dollar instant rebate, read where you could request extra cables for the cameras since only one cable came in the package.

So I called Google support and gave the person all requested info, and was told they had no cables to give and was told sorry, I asked if they could at least provide me with a coupon for their store, as I wanted to purchase 10 meter wired adapters, was told sorry we can't do that.

The the CSR proceeded to tell me those cameras were used and that the warranty was only good until march 2023.

When I informed her she was wrong these were sealed and brand new and just purchased from Costco, her reply was that they were activated in April of 2022, I told her that was bull**bleep**, then she said that Costco would have to send the cables and that the cameras were under warranty until March of 2023, and then asked me to take a survey.

I called Costco, and they just told me to return them for a new set of cameras if I wanted to.

Does Costco really sell used product as new? The package was sealed and there was nothing to indicate that the cameras had been used.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear that you have gone through such an ordeal, I would love to look into this further for you. If Costco is willing to return the items for a new one, I believe that may be a good way to go. Though the situation is quite strange, I would suggest you follow up with Costco to see what your next steps are.

Best regards,

Brad
