Google won't replace a broken Nest Doorbell mounting bracket

I switched to Google Fiber, which caused different individual issues with each of my Nest devices. After factory-resetting the thermostats and finally getting them on the new network, I needed to reset my Nest Doorbell (wired). While unclipping the front of the Doorbell, the top metal clip on the mounting bracket broke. I contacted Nest support and found out that I've had the doorbell for 13 months and the warranty is only for 1 year. If it was under warranty, Google would have immediately shipped me a new mounting bracket for free. Since I'm 1 month outside my warranty, Google won't even let me purchase a new bracket. So, what do I do now? Switching to Google Fiber has been such a pain, and now my Nest Doorbell won't mount properly and I cannot get a 1:1 replacement from Google (or even off Amazon). Come on Google, do better.
