Halloween doorbell sounds not appearing

Hello! The past few years, it has seemed that on Oct 1, the nest doorbell Halloween sounds become available, but they aren't showing up in the app for us this year. I've ensured that my app is fully updated, but still nothing. Does anyone know if they are planning on rolling it out again this year? Thank you in advance!

its funny you say this...i started looking for this too. I also saw previous threads that you can change the tone on the google home that ring over my google speaker, but cant figure it out. This is nonsense.

Same here! I keep checking but nothing yet! Last year, the Halloween sounds appeared October 1. I hope they did not discontinue the holiday themed doorbell chimes!

I’ve read online that they are not going to release them then I seen someone on Reddit saying they got theirs.    Reached out to chat and they are just as useless

Where do you go to see them? Also are you using the Nest app or Google Home app?

edit: nevermind I see it now. It's under doorbell settings in the google home app

Hello everyone,

I’m happy to hear that this has been resolved. In case you need it, here’s a handy guide to help you with the Nest camera or doorbell settings.

Reach out if you have other questions.

Thanks for chiming in, Emerson.

Best,

Lance

Lance my Nest doorbell is set for spooky sound, but playing a weird chime/song instead.

Any ideas?

Hello everyone,

@Justinlinville, hmm. Let’s try to toggle the Nest doorbell theme to default, then back to the spooky sound. If that doesn’t work, follow the steps below:

  1. Check for any Android or iOS updates and install them if there’s any.
  2. Uninstall the Google Home or Nest app.
  3. Restart the mobile device.
  4. Install the Google Home or Nest apps.
  5. Set the doorbell theme and check if the issue is fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Lance

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. How's it going? In case you still don't see the Seasonal chime option, you may reinstall your app and let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Emerson
