Nest cam mic stopped working.   Can't talk.  Just listen.  Help.

BTW.  This issue began when the new Ome app started.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, have you tried turning off and on the microphone settings in the app? What app are you using to adjust the mic? Have you tried removing your Ome app and checking its behavior? Let us know your update here.

Sorry I missed this.  I have tried turning it off and then back on multiple times.  No luck.  I have uninstalled and re-installed twice.  No luck.  I am using an indoor / outdoor nest cam battery operated (but plugged in) that is mounted on the magnetic base.  I am using Android and Google Home.  Everything worked just fine until there appeared an automatic update to Google Home.  Now I can still listen, but the Talk Feature isn't working.  The cam cherps when I touch the microphone, but no other sound comes through.  The microphone symbol on the app is blue, but when I speak, it doesn't do anything.(doesn't expand like it did before).  I have also gone into settings for the microphone in the HOME app, and tried different settings.  Still no luck.  I am very disappointed as it seems that the HOME update has some sort of bug.
