Ever since upgrading to iOS 15, the nest app doesn’t set it to away mode when I come home. This means I have to manually turn off the cameras. Anyone found a workaround?

Not having a iOS device I am only guessing this has something to do with new permissions requirements.. you probably need to allow location services for the nest or google home app for this to work.

Try logging out of the GOOGLE HOME app and then re-logging back in. Somethings that fixes many issues like this. And if that fails try a full shut down of your phone for a few minutes and bring it back up and see if that works. Finally, maybe something in location services needs to be turned on. I know in IOS 14 it is SETTINGS-->PRIVACY (make sure location services are ON) then scroll down and make sure GOOGLE HOME is ON ALWAYS

Sorry for the delay. I was able to get this working by manually re-enabling using my iPhone for Home/Away detection in the iOS app. I'm not sure how this got disabled but it was the day after updating to iOS 15.
