When will the Home App allow nest camera viewing on PCs like the original NEST application?

This Sept. 29, 2021 Google Nest posting says "...we’ve also been working on rolling out a desktop experience for the Google Home app, so the new Nest cameras and doorbell feeds can be viewed and controlled from there. This will launch in 2022.":

We bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) in early September and are still waiting to be able to view all of our cameras on one website.

I would not hold your breath for an early 2022 release of this feature. If you look at the rollout it is taking google years to make the integration happen. To be able to use nest cameras and Google nest cameras we as in the people that buy and pay for this service are forced to use two different apps. Any geek out there that knows about writing software is aware this is not that arduous and could’ve been done ages ago.

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out and I understand how you feel about the lack of desktop experience where you can control your Nest and Google devices like the Nest web app. While we don't have an exact time frame to provide, rest assured that we're on it.
