I've been using the Home app on my phone at my house to stream a feed from a nest camera on the same network. It starts streaming using Wifi, but will randomly switch to mobile data, cheweing though my plan data. It does this despite installing a local firewall in an attempt to block Home from using mobile data.
Two questions:
Can Home be configured to not use mobile data?
and
Can you figure out why it's switching in the first place? No other apps on my phone exhibit this behaviour while on my network.

Hey there,
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad

I'll give this a try. It'll take some time to know if it has worked since the switch to mobile is non-deterministic, and the report I get from my provider on data usage has some lag.

Thank you for letting me know. We'll leave this thread open for longer so you can give those troubleshooting steps a try.
