How can I replace the battery of the Nest Doorbell (battery)?

Recently my Nest Doorbell's battery has been lasting for a few days and charging takes hours.

I believe that the battery may be damaged and I want to check it.

If your doorbell is less than a year old then Google will most likely replace it under the warranty.  After that the battery is not designed to be easily replaced.  That being said if you go on to YOUTUBE you will see a few videos that show you how to do it.
