Hi, I'm an end user like you. Wow, this might be the first time this question has been posted. I'm not sure if they support the cameras being on 2 different WIFI networks but I'm not sure.
I think your best bet is to speak to an actual Google Nest Technician on this. Here is the link to open a support ticket and be able to talk to someone. You may need to have your nest serial number handy before they speak with you.
Here is the link:
Please return here and let us know what you find out. I'd love to know if this works.
Thanks for the link. I had an extended chat with a helpful technician named Luke. Unfortunately, since each of my two routers has its own Internet connection, the only way to get all four of my cameras on one Nest Aware subscription is to reconfigure them to connect to a single router. We had given up on router extenders from one building to the other because it hammered the data transmission rates. There is a small chance two of cams would get enough signal without a router extender since they are outside but I am not very confident that this would be a dependable connection to let us reliably see all four cams. I most likely have to get two Nest Aware subscriptions, as though I had two homes in two different geographical locations, even though they sit on the same residential lot.
Glad you are working thru the problem. I have a similar situation but my way of dealing with it was this:
The new MESH routers are incredible and they do not suffer any substantial delays when jumping from router to router. I have the Euro Pro 6E and (3 devices) and they are incredible. But one of them is far away from the others. So I dug a small 5 inch-deep trench in the ground and ran a 150-foot longer ethernet cable (made for underground use). One end plugs in to my router and the other plugs into one of my (3) Eero satellites (they can run wifi or wired). So that particular one is running full bandwidth and this is how I reach all my WIFI cams with an excellent WIFI signal.
We haven't heard any updates from you. Please let us know if you still need help as we will be locking this in 24 hours if we won't hear back from you again. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
