How do I display my google nest camera to show up in my Nest app instead of google home?

If you have one of the new Google Nest cameras or doorbells that were released starting in the fall of 2021, they can ONLY be accessed in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. This is Google Nest's deliberate design, as we discovered when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) in September 2021.
