We are renting our home and the tenant would like to connect to the Nest doorbell that we previously installed. I have already disconnected it from our account. Since the doorbell is installed, how can the new tenant connect the doorbell to the app when the QR code is on the back and they cannot get to it?

They, or you, need to remove the doorbell from its mount to gain access to the QR code and/or entry key. A standard paper clip usually does the job unless the doorbell was installed in such a way that prevents access.

I've saved paper copies of the six-character QR codes and serial numbers for our Google Nest cameras and doorbells so we don't have to resort to unmounting a camera on a ladder or removing a doorbell. Reading a QR code either visually or with a smart phone while standing on a ladder can be frustrating.
