I cannot find anywhere how long the power cord is for the new Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen). Nothing is mentioned on the google store https://store.google.com/config/nest_cam_outdoor_wired_2nd_gen or on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Google-Nest-Cam-Outdoor-Wired
Seems like a bit of essential information for a wired device you are installing outside, often far from an outlet.

I started a chat because their website didn't say it but it looks like it was updated as I was chatting with an agent trying to give me information for the indoor models...
The tech spech now shows it

I need a longer power cord. Is there a simple extension I can add to what comes out of the box?

Ugggg, why do they not offer a short cable option. I had (4) outdoor outlets put in at the locations I want the cameras that are literally 3 feet away. there is no nice way to elegantly hide 18 feet of useless cable. Google continues to disappoint in the design.

I completely agree. Being able to change the cable length, replace the cable if damaged, or attach to a solar panel were huge advantages to the battery cameras, even if I used them almost exclusively plugged in.
