How to choose which speakers doorbell rings on

LittleAbby

It looks like lots of people have asked this over the last few years, and there have been no helpful solutions. I'm wondering if this has changed. I too would like to select which Google speakers get notifications from the doorbell. It's really inconvenient (actually, unworkable) to have all connected Google devices get all notifications. Any news from Google about this functionality?

It has not changed. "Visitor announcements" go to all speakers not set to "Do not disturb".

Hey everyone,

@LittleAbby, thanks for posting here in the Community. How's it going with your Nest Doorbell and Nest Mini speakers? Were you able to go to the settings of your Nest Mini speakers and enable the do not disturb and notification option?

Give these steps a try:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open your Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Notifications & digital wellbeing and then Do not disturb.
  5. Turn Do not disturb on or off.

Hit this link for more information and let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Best,

Emerson
