I recently purchased the nest floodlight (wired) and would like to add an additional outdoor camera to get better coverage of my yard. I'd ideally like to have a wired cam. Is there a way to piggyback off the floodlights power? Or do they make a splitter or adapter? And ideas are appreciated. I can't really run a separate wired one where it is and I don't really want to deal with batteries.
Thanks (sorry if this is the wrong place for this)!

Sure, it's possible, but Google Nest doesn't provide anything for it. One option would be to add an electrical outlet to the electrical box where you're going to mount your floodlight camera, and you could then purchase a battery camera along with the 5-meter or 10-meter optional power cable and plug that into the electrical outlet.

Hello scatter,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
Have you had any chance to check MplsCustomer’s response above? If yes, how was it?
While we don’t have any splitter or adapter to connect an additional Nest camera to an existing Nest Cam with Floodlight, a Nest Pro can help you check the available options, such as the one previously mentioned.
If you still need help with the Nest camera, you may contact a Nest Pro to help you set up the device. In the US, you can contact our installation partner, OnTech. For all other countries, you can book an appointment with a Nest Pro. You can check out this handy guide for information on Google Nest professional installation services.

Thanks for your help, MplsCustomer.
