I can not reconnect my nest doorbell to the home app on my phone

I have tried all the steps in the help page and my doorbell status light remains white and does not change to blue so I can reconnect with the home app on my phone

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I see you’re having trouble connecting your Nest Doorbell to the Google Home app because the status light remains white. However, the blue light never showed up to reconnect to your phone. I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. I’m happy to help.

For better assistance, please answer the following questions:

  • Has the device been paired before?
  • What type of Nest Doorbell do you have? (Here is a helpful article to identify the model of Nest Doorbell).
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • How far is the device from the router?
  • Can you connect to the internet with other devices?
  • Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?
  • Are there any devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?
