I have a Goggle Nest Cam that I had set up previously in my home and it was connected to my google app. We discontinued using it for a short time and went to reset it up today. But I can not connect it to my google home app. Can someone assist me?
When I plug it in it goes to white light directly to the green light. However, It will not connect to my Google home app. I have scanned the code to install it, I have input the code on the bottom of the camera. Any Ideas?
Thanks

When you discontinued using your camera, did you remove it from the Google Home app? If you did not, it should still be there in the Google Home app, in the same Google Nest "home/structure" where it was before.
Is your Nest Cam Indoor the newer indoor camera that works only in the Google Home app?
If you did remove it from the Google Home app when you discontinued using it, what happens when you try to re-install it?

Yes, I did uninstall it from google home app. Yes, it only works with the Google Home app. I have another one that works on the Nest app and I love it.
When I try to reinstall it.... first when I plug it in it goes from white light directly to the green light. No blue light. so that indicates it is connected to a wifi, correct? However, It will not connect to my Google home app. when I try it just spins and says can't find it. I have scanned the code to install it, I have input the code on the bottom of the camera.

Was your camera online when you removed your camera from the Google Home app? If it wasn't, you might need to do a manual factory reset before you can re-install it:

Is there another way to factory reset. I don't see it on the app to delete it. It seems to be connecting to something if the light is green, correct?

Yes, I referred to to "manual factory reset" instructions above. The "Change camera and doorbell Wi-Fi settings" link that I provided above has a "factory reset it manually" link (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162#factory-reset) with instructions on how to perform a factory reset physically.

OOPS> Sorry I guess I didn't read far enough 🙂 Yes that worked.
Thank you for your help!
