I can’t reconnect my Google cam (battery) to the google home app

I had removed this device from my google home and now to re connection it won’t work. I’m doing everything right but it keeps failing to connect. I’ve reset the camera with the tiny button. Wifi is working great. I restarted my phone. I moved closer to the router. I let the camera charge (if that makes any difference). 
What else can I do?

What error, if any, do you get?

Did you do the full factory reset by pressing the reset button for at least 12 seconds?

I have worked it out! Yes I wasn’t aware that I needed to hold it down longer than 5 seconds. It’s all sorted now!
