I cannot manually switch Home/Away anymore

Hi,

when I choose "Home" to set Home or Away, the app shows since today "Learn about Home and Away" and then there is a button "Learn more". No more "Home" and "Away" buttons! I restarted, reinstalled, nothing helps.

Given that "Presence sensing" is spotty (even if the GPS signal is good) the app is almost useless now. It shows almost always "Home" and I cannot switch to "Away" manually.

What can I do about that? The manual switching worked flawlessly before. It looks like a bug.

Here is a screenshot. I choose "Learn more", go through the whole tutorial, confirm settings, but it does not change anything. The next time I chose "Home/Away", all what is there is still "Learn more".

Hi everyone,

There was a bug with the Home and Away settings in the Google Home app. That bug has been corrected, so you should be seeing proper functionality now. If you're not, try checking for app updates, clearing the cache on the app, and restarting the Nest Thermostat. If you go through those steps and are still having some trouble, please let me know here.

I’ve just updated the home app and have the same problem. Main screen shows as attached even though I already have home and away routines setup and have been through the process again multiple times.
