I have two indoor nest cams, both were purchased quite a few years ago. When I moved house i reconnected one and all worked well, i didn't connect the second one. Now i want to connect the second camera i get the message that the camera is connected to another account. Although this model is pre google ie. registered with Nest i have no idea why i cant connect. The status light is blinking blue.

The information on the back of the cam is Nest Labs Nest Cam A0005
The issue occurred when i tried to reconnect to a new router some years ago. As it wasn't essential at the time and had a second camera that does work, i didn't bother with it, and now it would be useful to have it reinstalled, it is denying me. The camera is probably 8 years old at a guess....

Thank you for your follow-up. In this case, since your Nest camera is associated with an old account, it is important to continue with a factory reset in order to erase all settings to allow you to add it to a new account. With the following link, you will find the steps to make a factory reset on your Nest camera: Restart or factory reset the Nest camera.

Contact the developer for more information.Thanks for the reply, I have attempted the reset after having removed the camera, however I cannot get the camera to connect to the wifi and when I try to go via the computer I get the message that the Nest Cam Setup needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of Mac OS (11/7.10) Contact the developer for more information.
Perhaps this cam is too old to be reinvigorated?!
