I am thinking of buying an indoor nest cam. I was wondering how obvious the ir lights are in a dark bedroom if you look directly at the camera? Is it one light you see or a ring?

For the Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) camera there are two red infrared lights on either side of the lens.

Hi Steve
What I was really trying to find out was how obtrusive the IR lights are. I have another camera that has a bright red ring of IR lights, which is obvious and annoying in a dark bedroom. I was wondering if the IR lights on the Nest camera are super obvious in the dark?
Actually, another query I had about Nest aware, is there any way of filtering the footage a person talking as opposed to talking on the TV? I suspect not, but thought I would check.
Thanks

Obtrusive is a bit subjective and a personal preference. In my opinion they are not, but different individuals need varying degrees of darkness to be comfortable in order to sleep. I have used other cameras in the past and Nest Indoor (Wired) IR lights are less obtrusive than those.
