Install nest doorbell in indentation

ISUGraber

I want to install a nest doorbell where my current doorbell is. The problem I have is the current doorbell is on a brick that is sunken between 2 other bricks. So it is about the height of a brick 3 inches.

if I could install the nest horizontally I’d have no problems. But that doesn’t seem to be an option.

im wondering If there is a mount I can use to bring the doorbell out about an inch from the wall.

Hi,

thank you for replying. No the issue hasn’t been addressed.

options I’ve considered

1) trying to find a mount that would put the doorbell out about an inch to be installed

2) look at competitor doorbells.

I am sorry to hear that you are still having the same issue! I can imagine it's been quite frustrating. Unfortunately, there is no such mount. There is a wedge sort of mount to face the doorbell out instead of straight on, but from the sounds of it, it probably wont be the fix for this issue. I would suggest looking online to see if there are any other options out there to use.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad
