Installing google floodlight camera in my location

I am considering buying a Google floodlight camera to replace my current floodlight. I understand that this camera was not designed to install under eaves. My current floodlight is not under an eave, but very close to it or something like an eave. I wanted to ask you if the floodlight location I have will work for the google floodlight. Please advise.

• The new flood light is extremely large.  It might not fit due to your current housing being so close to the gutter.  The nest unit has a large mounting plate.  Your best bet is to google the specs of the housing first to save aggravation.  Hope that helps
