I am having issues with my Nest Doorbell (battery) disconnecting from my WFi for no reason (at least none I am aware of). It was only installed today, Worked great earlier today, then decided to disconnect. I am not sure if it's an issue with the device going to sleep and the wake up sensitivity being too low or something else. Anyone have any adive on how to address? Would greatly appreciate it.

I have the same issue with 2nd generation. Never had this with 1st generation. Google sent me a new doorbell and this issue is the same. Also the video is often not ready for review. I saw many others similar posts.

I think, in my case at least, it seems to be more of a thing related to the doorbell entering "sleep mode". I have noticed that it wakes up and works better once it has detected a certain level of motion (in this case a human). Of course this does play a bit with the internal box, as the doorbell may not always ring. I am guessing this could be an inherent issue with the battery style. But, I wouldn't quote me on that.

1) no error other than not being connected.
2) not really close, but nothing else has an issue with connecting. Could be an issue, which makes me question using Google products.
3) No
4) Of course there are. Phones, laptops, a TV. None of these have issues, even at distance from router.
5) Yes, given the nature of the area, it would be impossible to have just one network detectable.
6) Yes, laptops and phones. This would be impossible to not be the case.
7) Not that I am aware of.
😎short of resetting everything and reconnecting to the network, not much.
The disconnect usually seems to occur, for the most part, during times of low activity. But generally wakens. However, this seems to be a bigger issue towards the evening. I am not sure if it is an effect of the sun setting (almost directly into the camera) or something else. This morning, even with activity, the device has not woken up and remains disconnected.

That is not generally correct. I haven't tried to reset the doorbell and reconnect to the netwrork.
