Lenovo Smart Display Streaming issues

I recently purhcased the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery). The doorbell works great with most of my devices Samsung S20+, Google hub. Some of my google assistant displays however, do not stream properly. These are official lenovo google assistand displays (Display 7 and smart clock). I receive notifications on these devices but video will not stream. I have been through lenovo forums and have seen answers from lenovo asking users to contact google. When will these devices be supported? My understanding is that if a device is marketed as being a google assistant device, then it should cater for all devices in the google eco system?

I agree! I have spent hours trying get my video feed on Lenovo Display but also Google Hub. I do not understand the whole “Home” situation. I have moved the doorbell to Home but nothing!

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be. I would love to help you find a solution to this issue. 

  • Do you still need help with this issue? Or were you able to get it figured out? 
  • Generally, if you are looking to stream your camera footage, it may be better to use a display like a Gen2 Hub, or something like that. But you may just need to make sure that all the devices are updated to latest update, and mess around with the settings to get it connected.

I did get the doorbell to sync with home hub and Lenovo display but it does not do it automatically when doorbell rings. I looked and these displays automatically update, I looked at more settings and will research more. Thanks for your reply.
