Migration of Nest to Google Home. I started the process of migrating over to my personal email account vs. my work email, which couldn't be used per Google. I was able to connect 4 of 5 Nest thermostats but then ran into trouble: the 4 cams and one thermostat are still connected to the work account. I tried that thermostat and one of the 4 cams but wasn't allowed do anything as they were already connected to a Nest account (the work email address one). I couldn't find any way to get access to the old work Nest account to delete them or the account to be able to reenter them again as seems necessary in my new personal Nest account. Help!

I did call Google Nest and work through the transition with a technical advisor. He was able to get me into my Nest account from my Gsuite email, and had me delete all the connected devices from the App. After I did this, I was able to add them to the new account on my personal gmail, one by one. A pain, but it worked and I now have all my Nest devices accessible and was able to sign up for Nest Aware. Thankfully the transition is complete.

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how upsetting this may be, and I'm happy to assist you with this. You would need access to the work email to complete the process. If the work email was a Gsuite email, these are not compatible with our products.
Best regards,
Brad

I am relieved to hear that you were able to get all of your devices added to a personal Google account! I will go ahead and leave this thread open for a bit longer for follow-up questions, etc. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
Brad
