We have multiple new nest products used in two locations and operating on the Google home app. Recently we wanted to move an old nestcam (runs on old nest app) from a third location to one of the current locations. The camera can be set up using the nest app BUT for unknown reasons, it then shows up in the wrong location on the Google home app. How do we fix this?

Are you saying that you went to the Google Nest app, selected your Google Nest "home/structure" "NewLocation1" while connected to that home's Wi-Fi and installed your Dropcam, and it does not show up when you are connected to your Google Nest "home/structure" "NewLocation1" but instead only shows up when you are connected to your Google Nest "home/structure" "NewLocation2"? Are your 3 Google Nest "homes/structures" on 3 different Wi-Fi networks?

We were able to fix the issue. I believe it was simply being impatient and not allowing the system to update. However, to answer your question, the two locations are on two separate networks which is why we were frustrated.
