Thanks! and do you know if there is a refund given for any unused time as I recently renewed.

I do want to purchase another Nest doorbell at new residence.

@Cmhopkins

I'm not clear what Google Nest's policy is on refunding unused months on a Nest Aware subscription. I think you need to cancel your Nest Aware subscription when you remove your doorbell.  Google Nest does not have any way to transfer a subscription to a new location.

You could try the "Contact us" link under "Nest Aware Premier Care" on the page below to "Get 24/7 access to Nest Aware Experts on the Nest Customer Care team. They’re available to answer questions, help you access features, and manage your subscription."

Hello everyone,

@Cmhopkins, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. In case you haven't reached our support team, If you have the 1st gen Nest Aware, and when you cancel it, you'll get a refund but if it's the 2nd gen there'll be no refund. However, you may retain your home structure that has your Nest Aware subscription, so that when you add your new Nest Camera or Nest Doorbell there, the subscription would automatically be applied. Let us know if you have more questions in mind.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson

@EmersonB

When you say a customer can "retain your home structure", does that mean a customer who is moving can update the location of their home structure and thereby retain their Nest Aware subscription?

Hi and thanks ...how do you tell the generation of the Nest video doorbell ?

Hi everyone,

I'm chiming in to ensure you've got the answer you're looking for.

@MplsCustomer, you can update the address of your home structure depending on the app where it was initially created. For structures created in the Nest app, follow the steps here; otherwise, update the address using the Google Home app.

@Cmhopkins, to check which generation of Nest doorbell you have, go here.

I appreciate the help, EmersonB.

Best,

Lance
