My Google Nest battery-powered camera was working last week, but the battery died completely. I charged the battery, and the Google Home app says that the battery is fully charged but the device is turned off. I have tried the following steps to turn it on:
1. I unplugged the cable and plugged it back in. The LED remains white, even after waiting 2 hours.
2. I clicked "Turn on" under the camera in the Google Home app. The LED on the camera turns off, then turns back on, still white.
3. I finnaly reset the camera by pressing the button on the back, and I re-registered it in Google Home as a new camera. It worked for 1 minute, then turned off again with the LED still on white.
I would like to clarify that I have an identical camera 2 meters away from me that is working perfectly. Therefore, this is not a network or WiFi issue.
Do you have any other advice for me?
thanks

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, what type of white light are you seeing?

I’m having this exact same issue. Light is solid white but camera won’t come back on after the battery died and it’s completely charged. Even resetting the factory settings and I can see the video during setup. But it’s off again and won’t turn on after it finishes. Need help on how to resolve?

The camera says device offline and fully chrome in the Home app. I can't get the device back on. Multiple chargers will register it's charging but it never comes back on. Device was also reset.

Hi Jmckee63,
I see that you're having some trouble getting your Nest Camera back up and running. Let me help you out.To confirm, during the Nest camera reset process, did you hear a countdown tone followed by a blue LED light? If so, have you attempted to reconnect the camera to the Google Home app? Here is a link on how to restart or factory reset the Nest camera or doorbell.
I look forward to your response.
Best,
Edmond
