My Nest doorbell of 3 years rings sporadically

This has been awhile, my doorbell rings sporadically and it seems it had lost it sensitivity. I tested it myself & unless the finger is on right spot & right time then it rings.  I have been using Nest products from the beginning of time and it seems once google took over the products have lost its liabilities . Can someone help? I am not going to buy a new doorbell. They are not cheap, just cheap qualify.

Also, no option to talk to customer service as people have time to sit here and type their issues and hope for a fix.

I'd like to ask you a few questions in order to gather more information about the concern and find the best way to fix it.

  • When did the trouble first occur? 

  • What is the exact model of your Nest doorbell? For your reference to identify it, check out this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells

  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps? If so, could you please describe them? 

  • What is the LED light status?

The model is Nest Hello. I only noticed it last Halloween when no ring was heard as I knew I had visitors . The I test it myself . The out side ring is heard maybe once in 30 attempts. The inside ring is heard every 5 or 6 press. I checked the wires of the doorbell & nothing has changed that could have affected it. It is also strange that the issue is consistent .

I am not sure if I did see any form to submit. I had explained the experience & attempt s to verify all connections are in place. i.e the wirings . Please advise if there is any specific forms/actions need to be taken. Thx!
