My cameras show off and will not turn on

I had my cameras installed then decided to change internet providers. I couldn’t find an easy way to connect to the new service, so I deleted everything and started fresh. Did a factory reset on cameras. Set up worked fine including live video as I finished the setup process. When I finished setup the cameras have a white indicator light and Google home shows OFF.  I cannot get the cameras to turn on.  What should I do to fix this problem?

Google Nest does not make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings, and removal from the Google Home app, a factory reset, and a reinstall are required.

Some customers in this forum have the same issue you're having because they seem to have inadvertently performed a "Restart" instead of a "Factory reset", since the "Restart" instructions are listed first on the Google Nest Help page. For the battery camera (we have one), you need to press the reset button for at least 12 seconds until you get a steady solid yellow status light followed by a confirmation tone:

I was sure to do the factory reset. I watched a YouTube video on it and they stressed to hold for at least 12 seconds. I’m willing to go through the entire process once again, if it will resolve my issues. Thoughts?

Sometimes customers try the reset again and it works, as in this post. I think it's sometimes difficult to get that reset pin depressed.

Thanks all.  I was able to manage to get my cameras up and running again. I believe part of the problem was with my camera mounts.  They were Google nest compatible, but for some reason when I removed the cameras from the magnetic mount or no mount to the new hardware they were affected.  I tricked them by adding the magnetic mounts as well. This allowed them to work. I played with the device setup , removed the extra mounts with success. Very strange, but it worked.
