My doorbell won’t connect and has a steady green light.

It disconnected after changing my wifi and cannot get it to reconnect. I have tried resetting it. I’ve held the reset button for over 12 seconds to factory reset which doesn’t work either. I completely took it off and reinstalled and the light automatically turn green but won’t connect to wifi for the Google home app to find. It was working fine previously so I don’t think it is a transformer issue.

@Mikayla

So, does the following NOT happen when you press and hold the reset button? (Depressing reset buttons can be a challenge.)

"At 10 seconds, the status light will blink yellow four times, and you’ll hear a countdown tone."

"At 12 seconds, the status light will be steady, solid yellow while the doorbell starts the factory reset, and you’ll hear a confirmation tone."

Hello everyone,

@Mikayla, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I'd like to ask, are you getting any error messages? How far is the camera from the router? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera? Looking forward to your response.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Best,
Emerson

Maybe 15 feet away from router but I did not have connectivity issues before I made changes to the wifi. My google indoor camera managed fine and reconnected on its own but the doorbell is what is giving me problems now. Only one device is near the doorbell which is a wired sensor light.

That did not happen so I will need to contact support. Thanks!

Hi Mikayla,

Thanks for getting back to us. Your Nest Doorbell should have a pulsing blue light indicating that it's ready to be set up. Here's the link on how you can reset it properly.
