NEST Doorbell Gen2

I have a Nest Thermostat and is working fine. Just wanted to add Nest Doorbell (Gen 2) wired. But am getting a blinking yellow light at the end. The transformer installed in our basement meets the power supply requirements mentioned for Gen2. Tried installation on two different cell phones but no workaround. Resetting was also unsuccessful as nothing happened when the resetting point was pressed. Any solution?

Unless your doorbell is defective, a blinking yellow status light means the doorbell is getting insufficient power:

I can't explain why that might be the case if your doorbell transformer meets Google Nest's requirements:

Did you press the factory reset pin at least 12 seconds, as described in the instructions?

You could try contacting Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Resetting wasn't possible as nothing will happen on pressing the button. I have a Nest Thermostat, that is running fine.

Thanks for the advice. I have already contacted them and returned the door bell.
