Neighbours Google Nest Doorbell Battery

My neighbours door faces my door on the opposite side of a shared driveway.

When im standing outside my front door i activate the lights on their google nest battery doorbell.

while the lights are flashing could the camera be recording audio of conversations with visitors to my front door.

if so, can the range of detection of video and audio be reduced for my privacy especially audio
