Nest 2nd generation

We installed a 2nd generation nest doorbell exactly one year ago. It was working great but we had to reboot our modem.  Now the bell itself dings but will no longer announce guests inside. It worked until the reboot. I have deleted and reloaded the app, done a reset on the bell itself.  Our back non video doorbell works fine. Plus the video feed works. Any ideas??

Hi BevL,

Thank you for posting in the community, I understand that the doorbell didn't give you the notification before you reboot your modem and this haven fixed after doing the factory rest and other steps. 

This happens because you reboot your modem and according to this article How do I connect my Nest or Home devices to a new Wi-Fi network?, you have to factory reset your device to connect network back.
