I am seeing consistent feedback related to paying Nest Aware customers that have “older” cameras and have recently purchased a new nest cam (battery) forcing users to use two separate applications for their nest aware subscription. Many of us are feeling in limbo while using what amounts to be an incomplete product and poor user experience.
What does the roadmap look like for the capabilities in Google Home App?
1. Will we have access to a web version at some point?
2. When will the functionalities of the cameras in the nest app be available in the Google home app?
After using multiple cameras and subscribing to Nest Aware ever since it’s existence, I have to admit it’s disappointing to feel like I’m moving backwards when I purchase new products.

Google have said that you will be able to view the 2nd gen cameras from the web sometime this year.
